STIHL: Making Reforestation Impact Transparent Through Data.
Together with STIHL, Fairventures Worldwide is advancing holistic forest restoration approaches that combine environmental and social impact. In their largest joint project to date, trees are being planted in degraded landscapes with the potential to sequester around 120,000 tonnes of CO₂ over the long term.
Transparency and traceability are at the core of the partnership. The TREEO Impact Storyboard developed for STIHL provides insights into where trees are growing, how they are developing, and the impact they create for climate and communities. This makes the progress and impact of tree planting visible, measurable, and verifiable.
Beyond the numbers, the people behind the impact are at the heart of the work. Smallholder farmers in Indonesia and Uganda are establishing sustainable livelihoods through agroforestry systems while contributing to climate action. These approaches help reduce pressure on natural forests and create new opportunities for future generations. Together, these individual planting efforts become part of a long-term solution for people and the planet.
