Together, we can plant 1,000 trees
We have some fantastic news: Fairventures is part of Stadtwerke Stuttgart’s “Tore für mehr Nachhaltigkeit” crowdfunding campaign! Together with you, we want to plant 1,000 new trees near Lake Victoria in Uganda and thereby promote sustainable agroforestry systems that benefit both people and nature in the long term.
To make our goal a reality, we need your support. This is because the crowdfunding campaign operates on an “all or nothing” basis: only if we reach our target of €5,000 within the campaign period from 11 June to 9 July 2026 will the donations be released to support our work. If the target is not reached, all supporters will receive their contribution back and we will receive no funding.
Make an even bigger impact
And here’s the best part: it pays to act fast! For every donation of €10 or more, Stadtwerke Stuttgart will add a further €20 from their funding pot – while funds last.
This means that a €10 donation immediately becomes €30. It’s a simple way for you to make an even bigger impact and help us reach our goal faster. Especially in the early days, this extra contribution can make a real difference and give us a big boost.
Every contribution creates lasting change
The donations we collect will not only fund the planting of 1,000 trees. We estimate a cost of €5 per tree, with the majority of this amount going towards raising the saplings in local nurseries and their subsequent distribution to smallholder farmers. In addition, we organise training courses for smallholder farmers and provide long-term support to the communities. For us, sustainable reforestation means establishing forests that will still be standing many years from now, while also creating new income opportunities for local people.
Every single contribution brings us closer to this goal – whether it’s €10, €20 or €50. Sharing the campaign with family, friends or colleagues also helps us reach even more people.
From Stuttgart to Uganda
As a non-profit organisation based in Stuttgart, we believe that global challenges can only be solved by working together. Our crowdfunding campaign combines local commitment with global impact: every contribution from Germany helps to strengthen forests and support livelihoods in Uganda in the long term.
In doing so, we also show that sustainability does not stop at national borders. It begins where people take responsibility for one another and for our shared foundations of life.
