At the end of February, Fairventures Worldwide participated in an event organised by the Catholic Diocese of Hoima in the Western Region of Uganda. Our local team presented our reforestation work in Uganda and highlighted why trees play a key role in the fight against climate change.
At our exhibition tent, we displayed a variety of different tree seedlings, such as Grivalia, Melia, mangoes, grapes, avocados, informational flyers and other promotional materials highlighting the importance of reforestation and sustainable land use.
Engaging Conversations on Our Work and Climate Action
More than 50 participants expressed interest in joining our tree planting initiative, which gave our team an opportunity to raise awareness about the benefits of environmental conservation.
As part of our efforts to promote environmental conservation, we gave out tree seedlings to enthusiastic participants. This initiative aimed to encourage individuals to take action in forest landscape restoration. Together, we can contribute to a greener planet and to the empowerment of farmers and forests!
Every seedling planted is an important step towards climate protection, empowerment and good forests as climate solutions. Together we can achieve more!
