Black Friday is all about shopping and consumerism. Special deals here and there tempting us to things we didn’t even know we needed yesterday. Originally from the US, Black Friday has long since become one of the biggest shopping days of the year in Germany, too.
This year, we want to use Black Friday as an opportunity to shift our focus to something else. Instead of asking how much we can save, let’s think about what we can achieve together.
That’s why we are turning Black Friday into Fair Friday.
Small Contributions, Big Impact
With Fair Friday we want to show that this day can be about more than shopping and discounts. Together with cafes, bakeries, concept stores, and other local businesses in Germany, we’re turning a day full of discounts into a day of giving, sharing and making a positive impact.
The idea is simple: Participating businesses and partners donate a portion of their sales to Fairventures, whether it’s a percentage of their choice, the proceeds from a selected product or a fixed amount.
