Therefore, we have adjusted our organisational structure. After more than 10 years of work in Indonesia, we have supported our Indonesian team in establishing their own organisation, the &#8220;Good Forest Indonesia&#8221; (GFI) Foundation.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;204098&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3><b>What does this mean?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Indonesian team will no longer implement our projects as a branch office of Fairventures, but as a fully equal partner. GFI is now an independent NGO under Indonesian law. Since the beginning of 2024, Fairventures Worldwide has been transferring project implementation in Indonesia to the Good Forest Indonesia Foundation. This foundation was founded by Monalisa, our interim country director in Indonesia, and is led by Fadhillah Hanum, our prior administration manager, as the new CEO.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=&#8221;12203&#8243; media_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;186269&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;182127&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3><b>How does our work in Indonesia change?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fairventures Worldwide and Good Forest Indonesia Foundation will continue to work together very closely. For Fairventures\u2019 donors and sponsors, there will be no noticeable change; the transition is primarily structural and aims to achieve even better outcomes. We believe this new setup will enhance our ability to reforest and establish value chains in Indonesia.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;188849&#8243;]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, over time, GFI will not only collaborate with us but also develop its own projects and programs, which we warmly welcome. While Fairventures funds all the work in Indonesia at this point in time, independence also means that GFI will be able to fundraise on its own. This in turn will allow Fairventures to expand to new areas, without necessarily growing.
