In the beginning of March, the project management team at Fairventures has changed. Previous person in charge, Benjamin Bräuer, will now be succeeded by Felix Siebel, who will take over his role. However, Benjamin will still accompany the project on the side and support the people of the Teso region (Uganda). We are very thankful for Benjamin’s long lasting commitment and wish him all the best and good luck for his upcoming challenges!
Meanwhile, we welcome his successor who has already been a part of Fairventures’ team last year and now commit himself again for the mission of intergenerational equity. As a consequence, Felix flew over to Kampala (Uganda) in the beginning of this week, to meet our local partner TECOMA (Teso Enterprise Consulting and Marketing Association) in the Teso region and to strengthen the cooperation as well as to look for further opportunities in the favor of the project.
Current trends reveal an increasing demand for Moringa leaf powder in Germany as well as Switzerland and first customers have shown their interest. Possibly, a first delivery of Moringa powder from Uganda can take place soon. It remains exciting to see how things develop.
