Ibu Paris is probably the oldest female participant in the 1 Million Trees program. Last year she heard about the activities from her neighbors in Takaras and decided to become a part of the program. Since then the woman in her mid-sixties is a proud member of the farmer groups and works with joy and engagement. Her field is located directly behind her house and there she has already planted with coconut trees, cassava and ginger. With the support of a friend of her’s she prepared her field for the new plantings with Sengon, chilis and eggplants to develop a diverse crop combination.
