With around 750 participants in 2014, the German CSR forum is the biggest and most influential event when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility and brings representatives of economy, politics and the public together. As a consequence, this forum is an ideal platform for Fairventures to raise attention concerning the ongoing problem of deforestation and the resulting threat for humanity and nature, but also looking into possible solutions.
Join us and visit the so-called “Kaminabend”, the forum’s opening event, on April 19th, which will cover the topic of „Intergenerational Equity – New Ways of Forest Use in Indonesia“. Our executive director, Johannes Schwegler, and the Indonesian deputy ambassador will both elaborate on how sustainable forest use can contribute to improving the livelihoods of the local population as well as saving the rainforest on the long run. As an illustrating example, our “1 million trees”-program will be taken to point out how companies can help towards sustainability by taking on globally social and ecological responsibility. You can find more information here: http://www.csrforum.eu/kongress/2015/kaminabend/.
Besides the “Kaminabend”, Johannes Schwegler, together with Andreas Back from Hornbach, will lead the podium discussion on “Tropical Wood: Sustainable Use Instead of Boycott“. Besides our active participation during the forum, Fairventures will also be represented with a booth at the CSR forum’s expo.
The entrance to the Expo on April 20th and 21st, as well as to the podium discussions is free and possible to attend without a prior registration.
If you would like to participate but have some questions in advance, please feel free to contact us by phone (0711 2204680) or e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
