Afforestation is a key issue when it comes to tackling climate change. And we are not the only ones who think so.
The German wood industry association (Gesamtverband Deutscher Holzhandel e.V.) will host its two-day large-scale event this November in a climate-friendly way by supporting our reforestation projects. And that makes sense, because the wood industry plays an important role in the transformation of our economy and the use of resources: Wood can bind carbon dioxide in the long term – CO2, which trees removed from the atmosphere.
Therefore, we are glad to make a contribution together with the German wood industry association (Gesamtverband Deutscher Holzhandel e.V.). We will offset all emissions caused by the two-day event by reforesting 1.9 hectares with agroforestry in Indonesia. In addition to the carbon we bind, we thus promote sustainable development and provide income opportunities to local people and help to protect biodiversity and the remaining rainforests.
In addition to events, our projects may also compensate products, travel, flights or the entire carbon footprint of companies or municipalities.
